Another week that kickstarts right into top gear. Here we have our old friends in Boeoes Kaelstigen (watch out for an EP and an album coming this fall on Adrian Recordings) who remixes labelmates Dmitry Fyodorov. Moody techhouse done in a Berlin meets Stockholm way and you can bet this will have people dancing at all those dark after hours clubs.

Dmitry Fyodorov – Shapeless

Dmitry Fyodorov is now back from the dark depths of modern technology! March 1st is the releasedate for the long awaited debut album from Dmitry Fyodorov, it’s called “Shapeless” and the first appetizer was the track “Coconut Office” that in late 2009 slaughtered its way through the web waves. We have the mixtape of the album for you.

PS. The duo has put together a little toy for those inclined remixers out there and it comes in the form on an iPhone app called “Shapeless: The drum machine” which is a drum sequencer based on samples used on Dmitry Fyodorov’s album. Each track on the album has its own sample pack. This makes it easy for anyone to create their own instant remixes of Dmitry Fyodorov’s dark techno hits.

“Once a month of 2008 Dmitry Fyodorov dropped bombs our direction, spreading disaster wherever he slaughtered his way forward. Hitting you with steamrollers like ”MD5VSSHA1”, “Leisure” and “1b-1”. Dmitry Fyodorov is now back from the dark depths of modern technology. This time with a track that sets the beginning of a journey; taking you away from mind and reality and moving towards a new landscape of unknown shapes, smaller rooms and less paranoia. A track trying to free you, trying to make you break the walls of Coconut Office in the early morning light. A track telling you to take the coconut and start walking slowly towards the light.”

This is the last track in the series of releases that Dmitry Fyodorov done the 29th of every month, all through 2008. It ends the only way it could end, in a crash, in chaos and destruction. Is this a song? Do we have dignity enough to care? Are you just fucking with me? Use your black magic skills to see the future! Is there even one?

Leisure time!

Dmitry Fyodorov are about to release their new monthly song on the 29th, but we got it a little bit ahead of everyone else. This 9th track is one of the best in the series so far, a real banger!

The ongoing series of releases with Dmitry Fyodorov, that Adrian Recordings is doing every 29th of 2008, is not just one brick after the other. It’s a stair, and it brings us down every time. This is the deepest, darkest, moldiest piece up to date, therefore also the best and most uplifting. A track for days of leisure. You know – your own free time – being free from civilization, booking flights to Berlin, staying awake for days, listening to techno, not knowing what day it is, not caring if the world ends. Leisure time!

Dmitry Fyodorov – Greetings, D!

Releasing one track a month is the concept of 2008. Dmitry Fyodorov releases their tracks on the 29th every month.

“Greetings, D!” – A new track from Dmitry Fyodorov saying hello to the D. So what does D stand for? Is it dance, destruction, drunkenness, death, doing it or Dadaism? Or can it be a tribute to the controversial Sergeant D? Founder of the non-profit organization “People for the Ethical Treatment of Zombies” (PETZ), working to ending the injustices that zombies worldwide have had to endure for ages.

A great cause for the undead, like Dmitry Fyodorov – bringer of havoc on dance floors and undeadliness. This is the fourth cool track of 2008, featuring roundhouse kick percussion and wicked cut-up rave vocals. This one is one exclusive one. Never before heard, neither in the rink nor on the web.
