We just received this track, French electro killer Don Rimini with rapper Verb in a re-edit done by the man himself. Never been released in this version before but here you go. Don Rimini completely shreds it on this one, you should know his style by now. On this track Verb stays on the flow and Don Rimini gives is us a nasty ravelike synth throughout the whole thing that will most likely melt your speakers.

Fires Of Rome – Set In Stone (Don Rimini remix)

We haven’t heard about NYC rockers Fires Of Rome before, but we do know about Parisian producer Don Rimini (his remix contest that we hosted back in August massacred our inbox so we know alot of you out there are also into him).

Here he remixes the track “Set In Stone” which happens to the first single from the Fires Of Rome debut album “You Kingdom You” (out soonish on The:Hours Records). The remix is also featured on the “Set In Stone Remix EP” (additional remixes coming from M83, Dada Life, Mo DJ, and DJ Angola)

A mere day after he destroyed the Jay-Z x Kanye track “Jockin Jay-Z”, Don Rimini returns with a just as banging remix that incorporates a steady beat + some ravelike synth stabs of the storming big tune “Hardcore Girls” done by two of the hardest working producers in Europe The Count & Sinden and featuring vocals from 17 year old Baltimore vocalist Rye Rye. The “Hardcore Girls EP” will drop on October 13th in Europe and in North America on November 17th.

Don Rimini, the french electro destroyer returns with this unofficial remix of the Jay-Z x Kanye track “Jockin’ Jay Z”. The track gets that special Don Rimini treatment which leaves it standing with one foot in electro and the other in ghetto, it features chopped up vocals galore, breaks and a sinister electro beat to get you moving.

Sekta

Sekta AKA Jan Dudzik is one of the guys behind the Sorry, Ghettoblaster club which happens to be the best and most popular club right now in Warsaw, Poland. He has a background as a dj and producer in the polish hip-hop scene. Upon moving to London, Sektas influences turned towards the exploding dance music scene where his early dance productions caught the attention of people such as Don Rimini and Boy 8 Bit for whom he did a remix of the track “Auto Riot” (he has also shared the stage with both of them).

Sekta just finished his first two official tracks and we got them for you. “Alone on the Dancefloor” sees him leaning towards that new french electro sound and it’s a dynamic, banging clubfriendly track which is guaranteed to make the dancefloor pop. The second track, “Final” is darker and has a more cinematic feel which makes it more suited for nightly bike rides home through urban landscapes.

Don Rimini remix competition

So, today is my birthday and what better way to celebrate than to provide all you faithful Discobelle readers and producers/dj’s with a competition.

French demon producer Don Rimini just released his “Kick N Run EP” on which the stormer of a track “Hools” is included. In collaboration with Darling Department and Mental Groove Records we give you the parts to the track and hope you’ll remix the hell out of them. We’ve got Don Rimini t-shirt and records for the lucky winners.
