Valhalla

The Kansas City based Think 2wice label put out their sixth release yesterday. The “Tell Me” EP is the first release of original production from label heads Tactic (Ben Fuller & Brent Lippincott). They’ve previously released remixes on labels such as Mad Decent, Dress 2 Sweat and Seclusiasis. The opening “Valhalla” track goes headfirst into early 90′s club territory and encapsulates a menacing synth line before some Baltimore club drums take over and push the track over the top.

Tactic – Valhalla (Mediafire)

BONUS: Their latest mixtape to get you in the groove.

Tactic – It’s Gonna Change (Soundcloud donwload link)

Tracklist after the jump.

Compass

UK genius L-Vis 1990 is definetely one of the most hyped up producers in 2009 going from strength to strength with his funky yet bass heavy releases; he started out with the massive “United Groove” single on Mad Decent, moved onto the recent smash “Night Slugs EP” together with fellow Londoner Bok Bok on Dress 2 Sweat and now he joins the ranks over at the new heavy hitters in Sound Pellegrino with his stunning “Compass/Zahonda EP”. Christian Martin (of Dirtybird fame) gives us his more evil electro/techno take on “Compass”.

Tactic are about to release a EP later this year on Dress 2 Sweat, but to get the hype up they have a new hand stamped 500 limited white label 12″ out. But that isn’t all, they also have a brand new mix to share with you here on Discobelle.

So download the mix and go get your hands on one of the limited 12″. You can buy it from here.

Spells Of Yoruba (Tactic edit)

We just got this heater of a track in the mailbox from Tactic.

“Got a fresh new edit done. Upped the ante a bit on that brilliant tune from Gel Abril and made it more progress a little quicker and bang a little harder. Definitely want to get this out in circulation before our Dress 2 Sweat white label drops later this month. GANG of stuff coming from Think 2wice too including a extra special EP from us along with the debut EP from Thunderous Olympian and a remix EP of Norrit’s first release.”

Like We Do

We haven’t even calmed down from Dress 2 Sweat’s previous release of the Debonair Samir 12″ and then they go and top that with their next release. This time we get a brand new 12″ from the legend DJ Deeon that is limited to 500 copies, so go grab your copy of “Like We Do” before it is gone. But we are not going to leave you without something to listen to until you get your copy.
