Unusal pairing up of NYC rockers in The Bravery with NYC bass maestro Drop The Lime for the new single “Slow Poison” (additional remixes will be coming from Of Montreal, Villains, Nic Hard, The 66 60’s and many more. Slow Poison is taken from The Bravery’s upcoming album “Stir The Blood” due to drop on December 1st), Luca doesn’t really bring much wobble bass to the table but instead focuses on funky congas.

A bit weary from last nights Smuts party at Babel where Solo flexed his skills and made the Malmö crowd dance like there was no tomorrow.

Anyway, just yesterday we gave you the Harvard Bass remix of new single “Set Me Free” from Brooklyn bass guru Drop The Lime and today we’e able to hand you the remix from the Zombie Disco Squad boys. Whilst the original is a big room monster complete with house diva vocals from new talent Carrie Wilds (she’ll also be featured on the Crookers record), the Zombies turn it down a notch for more of that funky techhousey sound.

Our French buddy, the electro demon known as The Toxic Avenger, is about to release two new records on September 29th. A new 12″ entitled “Toxic Is Dead” (out on Iheartcomix and it comes backed with remixes from Drop The Lime, Franki Chan and South Central) and also a Scion CD sampler compilation of that includes 5 new original tracks and of course a myriade of heavy remixes from the likes of Switch, The Juan Maclean, Acid Girls, Jakwob, Designer Drugs, Harvard Bass, Ocelot, Ladytron and Burns. He is also heading out on a Scion release tour in October to support the CD sampler, stops will be NYC, Austin, Cleveland and Philly.

We’ve got the storming title track “Toxic Is Dead” + an absolutely stunning tribalistic remix from the oh so talented L.A duo Acid Girls of the track “любовь навсегда”.

Chrissy Murderbot is just about to release his new album on Sleazetone Records come September 1st and it combines elements of juke, dubstep, old-skool rave, bassline, and dancehall. It’s already been getting plays from heavy hitters such as Diplo, Drop The Lime, Rob Da Bank and DJ Donna Summer. The track “Roll Another One” sees sizzurp superstar Hawatha Hurd add his Texan drawl to an infectious juke/dubsteppy beat (fellow Grinder Alex Bok Bok made a fantastic version of the track where he mixed it up with Gregor Salto for his Mixin’ It Up).

Star Eyes has been dj’ing since the age of 15 and now it’s time for her to drop her first EP “Disappear” which is filled with what should be called “haunted house”. The title track is produced with Drop The Lime and it’s a raved up acid bass monster with mind boggling backwards vocals whereas this remix by Paris own Trouble & Bass bandit Mikix The Cat shows us what happens when you incorporate some of that French flavoured house.
