Music Hack

We are at Music Hack Day in London today and are testing out some new stuff from the Soundcloud crew. Since our Soundclud Dropbox is out of control we had to do something about it. So from now on we will have a Discobelle group on Soundcloud where you are going to be able to listen to best tracks we have been sent. Since we get way more tracks then we can be able to listen through we need some help from you users. We were thinking of adding administrators for the group among you readers so that you can help us out on which track that should be visible in the group. So if you want to listen to all the music we got sent and think you have the right taste to decide what should go out to everyone send us an email with a short introduction to who you are and what you like.

We will then post some of the most popular tracks here on Discobelle.

Here is the first track from our group:

Dropbox Mix

Here are some of the best tracks we got in the dropbox the last couple of weeks, turned into a mix.

Tracklist with more information about the tracks after the jump.

Enjoy!

YOUNG STEEDS POPS are 2 guys from Mexico City called Diego Sotelo & Jaime Cardona, they are producers, dee Jays, they have an agencymusic called Disco Taste Music, they make public relations, so they are Skateboarders. This project was born in early 2008 with all inspiration in fidget sleaze-filled house, juke, dubstep, hip hop, indie, dubsided, garage and crunchy beats. We make FIDGET house music with many armonies and marked basslines and we make to dance all people in everywhere we are.

Prolific DJ and producer Udy has enlisted the vocal talents of his good friend MC Whipcrack to serve up what he can only describe as ghetto electro: a bit sleazy with a freaky little bassline. Hope you guys enjoy! Peace as always, Udy.

Remix Manuva

We were sent the accapella for Roots Manuva‘s “Buff Nuff” the other day and thought that it might be a fun thing do some kind of competition with it. We asked the good folks over at Big Dada if they had something they could give away to the one person that turns in the most wicked remix of the track.

So one winner will get a signed package of all three album releases; LTD 2CD, double vinyl and standard CD.

So if you are a Roots Manuva fan, download the accapella (direct link), remix it and then upload it to our Dropbox. Don’t forget to write an introduction and your email.

DropBox

Got skillz?

We got a new system for receiving tracks from you guys. If you look to the right you see the DropBox (made posible by the good folks at Soundcloud), just click that and upload the track you want us to listen to/or post. If we like your stuff, we’ll put it on the site.

Go here to upload tracks to us. Don’t forget to write a little something about the track, who you are, where to contact you and your MySpace or whatever you use. Please don’t send us mash-ups or remixes of songs that been out for more then two weeks, and only send mixes if they have something new to offer.

Here are two tracks from people who already found the DropBox.

First track is from Johnny Penn and Aaron Aujla from bikini who sent us one of their songs. A sweet pop song that works great with the summer.

bikini – I Remember Being Young (direct link)

Second one is a new track from Tuff Wheelz. He only gave us his MySpace page and I’m too lazy to check it out (don’t forget to introduce yourself), but I liked his song.
