This project was born in early 2008 with all inspiration in fidget sleaze-filled house, juke, dubstep, hip hop, indie, dubsided, garage and crunchy beats. Remix Manuva

Monday, August 4th, 2008

We were sent the accapella for Roots Manuva’s “Buff Nuff” the other day and thought that it might be a fun thing do some kind of competition with it. We asked the good folks over at Big Dada if they had something they could give away to the one person that turns in the most wicked remix of the track.

So one winner will get a signed package of all three album releases; LTD 2CD, double vinyl and standard CD.

So if you are a Roots Manuva fan, download the accapella (direct link), remix it and then upload it to our Dropbox. Don’t forget to write an introduction and your email.

Got skillz?

We got a new system for receiving tracks from you guys. If you look to the right you see the DropBox (made posible by the good folks at Soundcloud), just click that and upload the track you want us to listen to/or post. If we like your stuff, we’ll put it on the site.

Go here to upload tracks to us. Don’t forget to write a little something about the track, who you are, where to contact you and your MySpace or whatever you use. Please don’t send us mash-ups or remixes of songs that been out for more then two weeks, and only send mixes if they have something new to offer.

Here are two tracks from people who already found the DropBox.

First track is from Johnny Penn and Aaron Aujla from bikini who sent us one of their songs. A sweet pop song that works great with the summer.

bikini - I Remember Being Young (direct link)

Second one is a new track from Tuff Wheelz. He only gave us his MySpace page and I’m too lazy to check it out (don’t forget to introduce yourself), but I liked his song.
