About two weeks ago we posted the sultry house track “Erase” from French outfit Workerz together with super talented vocalist Jaw, today we can premiere the stream of their excellent “Memory” EP (that was released yesterday via Back Office Records) from which the track was lifted.

The EP features a track made in collaboration with French legend Etienne De Crecy and a remix from Belgian producer Surfing Leons (whom we at Discobelle have featured plenty in the past).

franskild is a dj/production duo that consists of two Swedes currently living in Copenhagen that are also part of Middle Eastern Heavy Bass trio Compadre. The influences for franskild ranges from “the blissful sounds and magnificence of the early eighties house music, 90’s french touch, mid-00’s jackin house and contemporary UK-garage”.

Last friday the duo released their debut EP “Majestic Mountains” on Australian label Sweat It Out and the EP has already garnered attention from among others Etienne De Crécy, Ben Mono, Nick Catchdubs, Horse Meat Disco, AutoKratz, Aston Shuffle and Peking Duk.

Below you’ll find all the tracks off the EP along with a promo mix (that includes the track “SF94” from Discobelle Records family Wool) done to showcase the dreamlike, melancholy and epic house sound of this up and coming duo.

Australian producer and bonafied dancefloor maestro Beni is heading over to the US for a tour which will include plenty of shows during next week’s Winter Music Conference in Miami and also a quick jaunt down to Mexico. The tour is in support of new single “Last Night” (to be released in April on Modular) that features Etienne De Crecy and Prince Terrence. This remix by French wonder dj/producer Brodinski provides a golden touch of stuttering, hard hitting techy goodness paired up with robotic disco vocals.

The new digital only album “Prince Umberto And The Sister Of Ill” by Australian brother-sister duo The Bumblebeez came out yesterday in the US (it was recorded and produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco fame). (You can stream the full album over at RCRD LBL).

The fine people over at Modular brought out the big guns in the form of Crookers, Herve and Etienne De Crecy to remix the single “Rio”. We got the Etienne De Crecy remix and it’s a techhousey take on the electropop party feeling of the original version.
