New York club night turned label Kaviar Disco Club drops their inaugural release on March 6th which features disco/house from NYC/Philly producers with stripped down and beefed up sample grooves that are true to the NYC sound. The release features tracks from the following Jacques Renault (Let’s Play House, DFA), Matpat (Exploited, 124 Recordings), Evan Michael (Drumpoet) and Higgins (Nervous Records).

We here at Discobelle present you with a vinyl only track, the feel good, soulful and hornlaced stomper “Searchin” from Philadelphia powerhouse Matpat, now feel free to dance away into the weekend.

Adelaide by way of Los Angeles and Chicago producer/dj James Curd drops his new record “I Get Up To DC” via excellent Berlin based label Exploited this coming monday and it’s already seen support from many dance music profiles.

We here at Discobelle get to premiere B-side track “Disco Fool” which incorporates a funky organ, a strutting bassline and ultra smooth disco pads.

“One night while I was working in my new studio I got a little homesick because a fest that takes place down the street from my building was going on back home in Chicago. Derrick was playing and I grabbed some of the audio from the end of his set of him talking to the crowd and dropped it into ‘I Get Up”. “Disco Fool” was one of the only songs I made in a studio I built with an SSL desk before realizing a studio under a club was a terrible idea.”

Ever on top of their game, German based imprint Exploited has hit pay-dirt with the latest single from Belgian beat maker, Mickey. ‘Sweet Baby’ is a snappy little gem that has received praise from the likes of The Magician and Arthur Baker, spins on Radio1 and named ‘Mixmag Single of the Week.” An impressive resume, no doubt.
