UK based label Future Disco Records have been renowned for their iconic compilations since 2009, with an A&R reputation for compiling and releasing credible collections and the digital landscape giving labels more freedom than ever before, it seems like the perfect time to start unleashing singles on the label, keeping to the 21st Century Disco sound they have carefully crafted since day one.

The first release on the label comes from Belgian producer Vhyce, who makes funk laden house and delivers a remastered version of his banging dancefloor hit single “Just To Make Me” which includes brand new remixes from ONSRA (Exploited) and Till Von Sein (SUOL, Dirt Crew Recordings).

Our old buddies in London outfit PJU dropped the Josh Caffe and Robert Owens fronted Chicago house influenced track “Give It To Me” late last year on German label Exploited.

Today the boys are releasing the smashing remix package for the single on their own Muzik Box label, we here at Discobelle are giddy with excitement about premiering the remix from fellow Londoner Kiwi who carves a dark and menacing version of the track being propelled forward by a jacking beat and bleeped up synthwork.

Exploited Ghetto, the Berlin based sub-label of the paramount house  imprint, Exploited, discovers newcomer, YDNA and his debut offering, “Safari.” This tribal work-out offers a funky, shuffling beat, muted chords and an elephantine synth riff that is truly epic. Layer on some ominous, rain-storm samples and savannah sounds and you’re transported to the Serengeti for a lush ride through the open range.

If the latest release from Berlin based Bastian of quality house music, Exploited Records, is any indication of what they have planned for the rest of 2015, I’d say we have some stellar joints to look forward to! Exploited label’s own goldenchild, Mickey, drops his new single in the form of ‘You Know The Beat,’ a chunky house stepper with a rollicking bass groove, jaunty piano stabs and some mean, vintage funk sample appropriation… hawtness to keep your bahdy warm during these cold months.

Berlin/Hamburg duo Kruse & Nuernberg (Florian Kruse and Nils Nuernberg) have been honing their craft within the German house music scene since the mid-90’s, growing more influential and now they’re a worldwide name. They’ve racked up releases on prominent labels such as Exploited, Noir Music, OFF Recordings, Liebe*Detail, Stil Vor Talent. Their much-awaited upcoming EP “Lost n Free” will be released on OFF Recordings in February 2015.

This exclusive mix for us here at Discobelle is a testament to their superb flow and style and to the heartfelt sound of some excellent house music.

Shir Khan always brings all things deep and funky when it comes to his extraordinary imprint, Exploited. The Sercret Gold series has given us some of the best underground tracks from the likes of Piemont, Huxley and Claptone, the sixth and latest installment is no different.

Secret Gold 6 starts out with my personal favorite, “Give It To Me” by PJU which features Josh Caffe & Robert Owens on the vocals. A soulful yet modern house track, it’s heavy on the horns and synths while hyper-sexed vocal cuts take the track to new heights. The rest of the EP is solid until the very end, Belgium’s very own Antilope’s dreamy concoction “Body Trouble” comes in next and is smooth mixture of deep house and dream pop. Finishing it off Kevin McKay (from Glasgow Underground) gives us a tribal tech house jam with “Everythings A Dream”, and newcomer Will Clarke’s wobbly “Gunna Give U” is a floor focused stomper.

You can purchase Secret Gold 6 now on Beatport, so what are you waiting for?! Go on and get down!

French house guru, The Mekanism, makes regular appearances on Black Jukebox, the sub-label to one of my absolute favorite imprints, Exploited. Here, his offering takes the form of ‘Touch,’ a silky-smooth, sub-terrainain house joint that oozes like molasses. The Mekanism’s production quality is palpable… never one to pull any punches or follow any trends, the man carves a clear path thru the minutia of the modern dance world, leading us into the promise land.
