French production wonder datA is about to unleash a new single, it’s entitled “Electric Fever” (it’s taken from the recently released album “Skywriter”) and will be released on December 7th by Ekler’o’shock. The single comes backed with remixes from Idiotproof, Munk and newcomers Acid Washed. The latter brings us a funky cowbelldriven remix filled to the brink with spacey vintage synths.
Philadelphia duo Pink Skull are long time pals of us here at Discobelle. They’re just released their dancey new album “Endless Bummer” is out on top notch NYC label RVNG. The guys did an exclusive mix for us to promote the album, the “Mink Challenges “mix is in fact a pretty insane amalgamation of their influences – both new and old.
The Swiss duo in Mercury have been on fire lately with numerous remixes and mixes. Here’s another treat from them with some of the finer moments of Chicago house re-edited.
“An old wisdom says: “Knowledge is the foundation of all things. Wisdom is the manifestation of knowledge.” In this spirit we studied the history of House music and, as an exercise and manifestation of what we have learned, re-edited House tracks by Steve “Silk” Hurley (Voices of Life), Cajmere and Ralphi Rosario with the objective of making them sound classic and fresh at the same time. As we feel enthusiastic about the result of our exercise and love the idea of a Chicago House renaissance on contemporary dancefloors we want to share what we call “Chicago’s Finest Re-Edited”.”
“Our “Tambourine Dream” mix CD has been sold out for a long time now, and Pocketknife and I are hard at work on the sequel. In the mean time, we decided to upload the first one for streaming.”
This folky mix CD was our soundtrack for the better part of this spring and summer so go check it out.
Up and coming UK producers Greenmoney (who are playing in room 3 of Fabric on friday alongside MJ Cole, Zeb Bias and Seiji) with a remix of that anthem “Organ Grinder” from Trevor Loveys.
Ville and Martti AKA the fantastic Finnish house tag team Renaissance Man told us about this mix for French clothing label Sixpack earlier this summer and now it dropped. The 50 minute long mix is filled with that funky, jacking house goodness and you’ll love it for sure!
Also, to celebrate the release, Six Pack produced a limited run of 100 t -shirts designed by Finnish studio Kokoro et moi which will be available soon.
Hardest working man in the electro scene – Don Rimini – is continuing to lay the world to his feet, he just embarked on another grueling tour schedule which will see him mainly in Europe and North America. Here’s a mix he just finished so that you’ll know what to expect from his sets.
Tracklist for the mix and tourdates after the jump.

Our favorite French label – Fool House – have done it again. Their third release is the EP “Ayrton Senna” from Barcelona electronic pop outfit Delorean. We’ve got the track “Deli”, it’s simply magnificent and can be described a little something like this:
“Deli” is one of the most beautiful, adolescent masterpieces you will have had the pleasure of hearing since “If I Ever Feel Better”. A rush to the street, under the sun, in the hope to find at the deli, enough to sustain a whole life of unconscious promises…”
French electropop trio Pony Pony Run Run just released the single “Hey You” (the album “You Need Pony Pony Run Run” will be released on June 8th digitally and in France on June 15th) and here they try their turn at remixing their own track with this nice slice of beefed up dance remix. The original version is getting big in France, it has been playlisted by all the major indie/rock radio stations, and from the looks of it “Hey You” will be a summer hit. The band and label are also running a remix competition with Fairtilizer so if you wanna try your hand at this then you’ll find all the details over here.
