Mondkopf remix contest

Delorean – Deli

Our favorite French label – Fool House – have done it again. Their third release is the EP “Ayrton Senna” from Barcelona electronic pop outfit Delorean. We’ve got the track “Deli”, it’s simply magnificent and can be described a little something like this:

“Deli” is one of the most beautiful, adolescent masterpieces you will have had the pleasure of hearing since “If I Ever Feel Better”. A rush to the street, under the sun, in the hope to find at the deli, enough to sustain a whole life of unconscious promises…”

Pony Pony Run Run

French electropop trio Pony Pony Run Run just released the single “Hey You” (the album “You Need Pony Pony Run Run” will be released on June 8th digitally and in France on June 15th) and here they try their turn at remixing their own track with this nice slice of beefed up dance remix. The original version is getting big in France, it has been playlisted by all the major indie/rock radio stations, and from the looks of it “Hey You” will be a summer hit. The band and label are also running a remix competition with Fairtilizer so if you wanna try your hand at this then you’ll find all the details over here.

House Of House

House Of House gave us what could be the track of the year with “Rushing To Paradise (Walkin’ These Streets)” and now they provide us with a pretty fantastic promo mix for their gig at classic London club Fabric.

“In prep for their performance this Saturday at Fabric here’s a mix that NYC’s House of House that they’ve especially for the night. House Of House is the New York City-based dance music duo of Saheer Umar (Afrika Islam’s nephew) and Olivier “Liv” Spencer (also of Still Going on DFA Records).

Influenced by the classic sounds of New York and New Jersey Deep House, seminal Techno outfits like Basic Channel and Underground Resistance, and the soulful sounds of Imagination, Womack and Womack and Sade, House Of House injects a soul-searing bit of drama onto the dance floor.”

Harvard Bass

San Diego producer Harvard Bass provides us with the next release on Sound Pellegrino (Tekis and Orgasmics label which looks to be a major player in 2009), his “Caked/81″ EP will be out on May 18th and comes backed with this remix from one of our favorites at the moment. Finnish duo Renaissance Man gives us yet another one of their stunning remixes with their take on flip side track “81″, continuing with their own jacking style and you just have to love that bouncy Eastern European style accordion. Secousse (Etan remix)

The Radioclit “Secousse 2″ remix EP was just released on Mental Groove Records, it’s a mighty package that features the All Stars Vocal version + dub and remixes from juke legend Gant-Man, French wonder Brodinski, Italian/British master Riva Starr, the Swiss heroes Wildlife and Round Table Knights + Mad Decents very own Paul Devro! To celebrate the release, they’re giving away some unreleased mixes of the track. First out is this bleepy yet still with that tropical flavour version by Etan (AKA Shuttle, Ninja Tune)

Lorentz & M.Sakarias – Vi Mot Världen

The new hope in Swedish hip hop, Lorentz & M.Sakarias, have finally finished their debut album “Vi Mot Världen” and it drops today (those of you in Scandinavia can also cop it on iTunes). We at Discobelle got the exclusive stream (well, along with MySpace) of the whole album. On the album they’ve worked with producers such as UMYO, Jeansbjörn and the British electropopsters in Futurecop! + vocalists such as Baltimore rapper Rye Rye, Swedish singstress Marit Bergman, Newkid etc. The album is characterized by a fun and playful attitude where the duo shows their diverse influences and it’ll surely be absolutely massive this spring/summer.
