Norwegian nu-disco prodigy Cavego is about to unleash his “Red Light” single (a track that features the vocal offerings of Australian singer/songwriter Arielle) via Finnish label Youth Control.

We here at Discobelle can premiere the remix from Finnish producer Koobra (who has produced under the Helsinki 78-82 outfit and also as a solo artist), he delivers an elegant sounding and sparkling disco house remix, keeping the hooks and catchiest elements of the original version while adding his own flavour.

The track has already picked up support from the likes of Thomas Gold, Roger Sanchez, Cedric Gervais, Riva Starr, Vanilla Ace, Felix Da Housecat, Chus & Ceballos and more.

Most of the time when someone has covered or remixed an electronic track like Felix da Housecat‘s “Ready 2 Wear,” we’re imagining a dance remix of some kind, but SF based artist Geographer has taken the track and managed to do a full 180 with the piece, and we’re absolutely in love with the end result.

Geographer crafts an emotion inducing, slurry version that minimizes any influence from the electronic world and is replaced with human emotions at its rawest. Powerful and yet minimal, “Ready 2 Wear’s” cover is stripped down to reveal the perfection that is all of the artists involved.

This track is off the “Endless Motion Vol. 1 EP” by Geographer, out December 4th on Roll Call Records.

L.A based producer and general all-around great guy Eric Sharp first came on our radar back in 2013 with his Pitchfork approved original single “Time Drips” from his “Sharp Cuts” EP. Since then, he’s been busy in the studio with collaborations and championing up-and-coming producer/vocalist Whitney Fierce, who he has a new release with.
