The stellar Helsinki duo known as Femme En Fourrure dropped their eagerly awaited debut album “36-26-36″ on Convex Industries a few months ago and for us it’s a contender for album of the year, described as: “music made for DJs and catwalks; also: for nightly promenades and oceanside sexin’”. This summer the duo performed a set for the Boiler Room x Flow Festival. Watch, listen and behold the magic and dark techno that is Femme En Fourrure.

Helsinki duo and Discobelle fam Femme En Fourrure dropped their much anticipated album “36-26-36″ yesterday and the album showcases 12 tracks of polished, minimal, and bassheavy productions topped with sultry female vocals, essentially this is: “music for DJs and catwalks, nightly promenades and oceanside sexin” and one of the best albums of 2013.

Released last summer, Femme En Fourrure‘s debut on Discobelle Records was a dark, deep minimal exploit into the greyzone between house, techno and minimal.

Now, we’ve got a new track to share with you. French Fries and Manare take most unsettling parts of the original track (the back alley off-key piano twinklings) and coats the deep tech house vibe of the original in a thick layer of UK funky influenced bass, making the end product sinister in a completely different way.

But just because it’s sinister doesn’t mean it won’t make people dance, knowwhatimean? Grab it for free below, this one’s on us.
