The stunning Dimensions Festival has just announced its first round of names for the festival which will take place August 26th – 30th at the breathtaking 19th century Fort Punta Christo in Pula, Croatia.

One of the true bastions of electronic music culture, the festival is very proud to reveal the first names to perform and they include Moodymann, Ben Klock, Lil Louis, Mount Kimbie (DJ set), John Talabot, Surgeon, Rödhåd, Anthony Parasole, Truncate, Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, Pangaea, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Daniel Avery, Horse Meat Disco, Jeremy Underground, DJ Deep. Plus there will be many more artists to be announced soon.

The Dimensions Festival Opening Concert will take place on August 26th and it will be a truly spectacular show set in a 2000-year old Roman amphitheatre, with live performances from Four Tet, Little Dragon and Floating Points.

The first in a new series for BBC 6, Jamie XX hands in an eclectic mix that digs through gems of disco, house, soul, funk etc. He showcases tracks done by Pional, Hyetal, Todd Edwards and also his own edits of among others The XX and Four Tet. Towards the end he sneaks in one of his own new tracks for your listening pleasure.

Last month, Swedish artist Neneh Cherry announced that she will release her first solo album in 16 years in the beginning of 2014 – following the news of a collaboration with RocketNumberNine, produced by Four Tet, and featuring a guest appearance by Robyn – Neneh is now ready to share further details of this forthcoming record. The 10-track album will be entitled “Blank Project”, and it will be released February 25th (in the UK/Europe) February 26th (in the US) on Smalltown Supersound. Listen to the title track below.
