Marawa

Enchufada will release “Hard Ass Sessions – Volume IV” on December 7th (exclusively on JunoDownload), other stores will have it a week later. On the compilation you’ll find the banging track “Marawa” done by Swedish duo Savage Skulls & Parisian producer/dj French Fries.

New Zealand duo Chaos In The CBD teamed up with Parisian wiz kid French Fries for the excellent track “With You”, it’s part of the track giveaways that YoungGunz are doing as part of their one year anniversary where the release a new track everyday on their Soundcloud and the upcoming release of their first compilation album (a track from each artist on the label). They’ll also be throwing two parties at Social Club in Paris, first one is this saturday November 13th and the second will be held on November 17th.

This track is similar to crack and has us hooked with our finger on repeat.

Buckup

November 22nd sees the release of Swiss producer Wildlife!’s new EP “Buckup” which is an amazing EP filled with his bassfilled take on Jamaican dance music. Don’t sleep on it, amazing tracks on here that should work their ways into plenty of dj sets. It comes with vocal contributions from legends such as: Sammy Dread, Major Mackerel and Terry Lynn. Remixes on the EP come courtesy of Night Slugs wildman L-Vis 1990, whiz Parisian producer French Fries, Berlin techno fiend Adam Port and French/Argentinian tropical cumbia hero Douster. We here at Discobelle got the Douster remix for you, which sounds like Jamaican dancehall meeting up with a cumbia shuffle on speed at a carnival.

Parisian duo Logo release their debut EP “La Vie Moderne” today on Kitsuné and to celebrate they handed us this stomping remix collaboration by Parisian whiz kid French Fries and Swedish veteran Tony Senghore which:

“…layers the whirring electro of the original with an incessant kick drum and a seductive vocal by Piu Piu, catapulting the track into epic territory!”

Animism

The “Animism EP” release from French producer/dj and member of the Youngunz crew – Bambounou – came out today and it’s a tropical storm ready to pulverize dancefloors on both sides of the Equator. The EP contains 3 original tracks + remixes from Teki Latex & LOL Boys, French Fries, Art Nouveau and Dre Skull. Thanks to the good people over at Mixpak, we can give you the track “Dogon” which albeit is not on the EP it’ll give a sweet taste of exactly what Bambounou is all about.

French Fries – Senta Mix

Young Parisian producer French Fries is quickly rising to the top of the game with super strong remixes and original tracks coming out at an impressive pace (including a remix for us in Discobelle Records with his remix on part two of the Femme En Fourrure single “Dirty Blonde” which will drop July 15th).

Here’s his latest mix which should suit your weekend plans perfectly and also serve as an appetizer of what to expect when French Fries hits the club night Praise The Lord at Babel here in Malmö on wednesday July 7th (together with our friends in the Smuts/Woobanger crew) where he will most likely tear the roof of the old church. Walking On A Line

French electropopsters in Pony Pony Run Run, are returning after their superhit “Hey You” (which we’ve mentioned here on Discobelle in the past) and also their Victoire de la Musique (the French equivalent to a Grammy award) with new single “Walking On A Line”. The new track has remixes for miles, we’re glad to be able to give you these two remixes from two fresh French producers who have already begun to make some major noise. HighBloo and Raziek each gives you their take on the new single where Belgian youngin HighBloo stretches out the original version galavanting into more of that bouncy Dutchlike house territory and Montpellier bad boy Raziek transforms it with the help of hypnotic accordions into a Funana sounding tune.
