Keep Shelly In Athens released their album “Now I’m Ready” via Friends Of Friends last year it’s been hailed by publications such as The Line Of Best Fit as one of the best pop records of 2015. Now, to get things going in 2016 we present you with this smasher of a remix from UK/France duo Loframes (aka James Yuill & Franck Russo) of the title track and the pair claims their stake with a uplifting, housed up affair that lifts the pop sensibilities of the original version to dancier heights.
Our friends over at the always exciting Los Angeles based label Friends Of Friends sent over one of the upcoming tracks from their Singles Series which is basically their attempt to release music from young and untested artists.
For the fifth entry in the series we can premiere LA’s own house innovator Cromie (he’s worked extensively with Sage Caswell and is part of a new wave of Los Angeles house music that includes names such as Suzanne Kraft and Palmbomen) with his track “ZA”, the track itself is geared for peak time dancefloor play and displays a thumping production of dark and menacing sounding house music.
We’ve been following Dava Nada and Matt Nordstrom AKA DC started now L.A based outfit Nadastrom since they dropped their first track as pioneers of the moombahton movement. The years have passed and the duo are now finally ready to release their forthcoming debut album February 23rd on Dubsided/Friends of Friends.
We’re very glad to be able to premiere the stream of album track “Headed Home” which basically sounds like late night electronica infused slo-mo house with hypnotic vocals that should be the soundtrack for your next ride home.
