MOAG Records, based out of Los Angeles, has been absolutely killing it, and Gallant has been showcasing his vocal chops on another level lately, this time with “Skipping Stones,” which sees him paired with Jhené Aiko.

Released through Red Bull Sound Select, the slow production pairs perfectly with both of their vocals, supporting but never overshadowing the singers; ultimately, the entire track showcases their talents and proves the producers know how to delicately balance everything with the vocalists.

Mind of A Genius has slowly been developing as one of the most exciting labels to have been started in LA over the last couple of years. So far, they’ve only unveiled two artists on their roster, that is, until this week. The guys at MOAG have revealed that they have signed THEY, a LA based duo who know how to extend MOAG’s silky smooth electronic vibes.

Los Angeles vocalist Gallant has been a blog darling since the launch of his project with his “Zebra” EP and today he returns with yet another sexy slice of experimental R&B in “Talking In Your Sleep.” Vocally, the track feels a lot of FKA Twigs and was produced by StiNT. “Talking in Your Sleep” will appear on an upcoming Gallant release via his new label, Mind of a Genius, later this year.
