Big night coming up here in Malmö this saturday (August 6th) when Babel presents their annual summer bash (Sommarfesten), this year we get a varied line-up with some huge names, up and coming acts + local talents. The full line-up reads as follows: Rebecca & Fiona, 2000 and ONE, Per Hammar, Sandra Mosh, John Talabot and Disco Devils.

In cooperation with Babel, we here at Discobelle are giving away two tickets for the party. Just send us an e-mail to be entered into the draw (winners will be chosen on wednesday and are eligible to pick up their tickets in person at Babel in Malmö)

DR. MARTENS 50TH

Dr Martens/Buraka Som Sistema Giveaway

Dr Martens is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and is bringing music and fashion together, working with ten contemporary artists to reinterpret cult classic tracks.

Each new track was released as a free download on the Dr Martens website, in addition, directors including Rankin, Ace Norton, Rupert Sanders and Don Letts have crafted bespoke videos.

As we posted about before one of the artist involved was Buraka Som Sistema with their take on Neneh Cherry’s ‘Buffalo Stance’.

Now we got a pair of Black Limited Edition DMs 1460 (UK Size 8) signed by Buraka Som Sistema – plus a copy of their cover of Neneh Cherry’s ‘Buffalo Stance’ on vinyl to give away from it.

All you got to do to win is to e-mail us with the subject “Dr Martens” and we will pick one lucky winner. You got till the end of the year to enter.

Slew

Our good friend DJ Wool calls Berlin home and he’s been obliterating dancefloors worldwide for over 10 years now, he also resides in NYC duo The Glass + resides over his newly started label We Collect Enemies.

To celebrate the launch of the label and their inaugural release of the Das Shadow (AKA co-owner of the label, Andrew Philpott) single “Slew” we’re happy to be able to give away 10 sweet looking t-shirts to the Discobelle readers and it’s easy, just comment on this post and the 10 first commenters will receive the t-shirt.

Downtown Music giveaway part 3

The second t-shirt giveaway from Downtown Music got a little postponed due to some problem with the site, but here it is.
