Late last year Melbourne dub-disco collective Passerine hit it off with Sydney based producer Yama Indra (aka GLOVES) when he remixed their single “Paris Morning”. When Passerine decided to record their new single “Free Again” (can be found on their excellent debut EP) Yama was the obvious choice of producer. The result of their second collaboration is an infectious disco track on which we hear the sultry vocals of Phoebe Dubar floating on top of the groove.

Melbourne producer GLOVES used to be part of now defunct duo Damn Arms and he has been much talked about on the behalf of his remix workings for quite some time now, now we find his efforts on the newly released “P.Y.X” EP which just happened to be have been put out by the best label from down under, Bang Gang 12 Inches. On the EP, french wunderkind and Boys Noize Records signing Strip Steve gives us a 90’s house flavoured/discoish dub version that puts a smile on your face all while it makes you dance into the wee hours of the morning.
