Apart from all the blogging, we DJ quite a lot. We play the same sort of music that we post, so if you like the blog – you’re going to have a good time on our dancefloor as well. The KDMS – Tonight (Morgan Geist remix)

German label Gomma signed a new duo named The KDMS (consists of London vocal diva Kathy Diamond and Warsaw based producer Maximilian Skiba) and their initial single release on the label is off to a decent start (an album is to follow in 2012), this has alot to do with the fact that Morgan Geist (of Metro Area) fame contributed to the single with one of his rare remixes. Top dj’s such as Soul Clap, Jaymo, Tom Trago, Tensnake, Tim Sweeney and Aeroplane are all over it, the track is based around an icey 80′s synth that plays off handclaps and warm vocals to give us an uplifting experience. Swedish house maestro Axel Boman describes the remix as being: “shimmering little diamonds in the autumn night that will guide cold dancers towards warm experiences.”

Scion A/V joined forces with L.A based fantastic dance party/club night A Club Called Rhonda’s imprint, Rhonda International, for this EP from B.C. x Delivery. The song is produced by the Marc Kinchen aka MK and is definitely rooted in classic house that’s guaranteed to make you dance. German producer and Gomma co-founder Munk gives the track a European disco workout which works wonders.

Mustang

Mustang are from Brussels, following in the footsteps of Aeroplane, Glimmers and Soulwax they could be the new supertalented production duo emerging from the Belgian electronic scene. They have a unique style which mixes real intruments with classic house beats. Folk vs Techno. Jazzfunk vs House. Their debut EP will drop February 5th on Gomma.

Bag Raiders remix/remixed

Bag Raiders day here at Discobelle!

First we got the new Headman 12″ that gets a Bag Raiders remix. The 12″, “Catch Me If U Can”, also got a remix from Tronik Youth and is out now on Gomma.

Then there’s the double Australian affair with a Calling in Sick remix of the old Bag Raiders hit “Fun Punch”. This remix almost makes you forget that it isn’t 2007 anymore.
