Seems like summer will be arriving in southern Sweden this weekend, what better accompainment for the outdoor parties than this new and bouncy remix by Canadian producer Grandtheft (½ of Team Canada DJs) of the track “Girls” from Chi-town trio Walter Meego. Electropop at its finest.

Grandtheft from Team Canada DJs is starting up a new label called Tremendous Records this week. The focus of the label will be on new, forward-thinking club/rock music and will the releases will be digital only. The first signing on Tremendous will be no other then Denmark’s electro-dance princes The Wong Boys and their first release “Git Ur Fuk On” will drop on the 10th of March 2009 in North America with help from Last Gang Records. The Wong Boys will hit North America in March, taking in dates at Toronto’s CMW and SXSW festivals as well as tearing up LA, New York and Montreal.

The label will go public tomorrow but we on Discobelle thought we give you the heads up a little early. So here is a stream of “Git Ur Fuk On” and a chance to download the incredible remix from DJ Illo of the track. When the digital release drops, it will have a couple of more remixes (we heard that Aaron from Team Canada is doing one of them).

When Team Canada was in Copenhagen doing a gig they got to hang with guitarist and manager of one of Denmark biggest rock bands Nephew. A LONG night of drinking turned into this amazing remix by Grandtheft of Nephew’s Roskilde 2007 live performances of “Hospital” which features Danish rapper L.O.C.

Team Canada is coming to Europe this week to show us how it’s done. They will kick off their tour in Norway tomorrow and we will try to catch them when they are in Copenhagen if we can clear our schedules.
