Our brother from another mother over in Montreal – Hatchmatik – has been hard at work over the last few months with his snazzy clothing boutique Old Gold and also constructing a full online shop. Now that everything’s up and running, he celebrates by giving us a mix. Hatchmatik from Montreal just did a tour in Asia, dropped by Sweden for a gig in Stockholm at Pom Pom and also finished this remix of that Teki Latex & Cuizinier banger “The Good Guys” (you might remember that crazy good video we posted about a week ago). As usual, Matt cranks it up a notch or should we say ten, giving the track a whole new frantic level of club destroying qualities which means you get handclaps, chopped up vocals, nasty synthstabs and a tough as nails beat.

New single “Love Lockdown” by Kanye West just hit the internet and remixes are already streaming in like crazy. We recieved these two last night from two Discobelle faves and previous Mixin’ It Up contributors, Chi-town dj Matt Roan and Canadian producer/dj Hatchmatik. They both bring the track to the club, albeit in different ways.

Montreal based producer/dj Hatchmatik (part of the Peer Pressure crew) have been keeping things on the low lately and we’ve been anxious to hear his work ever since he blew us away with his Mixin’ It Up back in december and some choice remixes that we’ve been jamming hard. Apparently, he’s been busy working on a mixtape called “Bronzage” (which you should pick up from his MySpace, only 12 bucks), a slew of official remixes and a debut 12 (being released by Coco Machete Records).

Here are two of the aforementioned official remixes that he just finished. First out is a clubbified remix of french producer MTO and then we bring you his electro remix of french rockers Adam Kesher and their joint “Local Girl”.
