Our fourteenth installment of the Mishka Keep Watch Mix Series comes to you courtesy of the undisputed wobble champions, Jack Beats. A mix jam-packed of exclusive unreleased edits, re-edits and remixes by the London based duo that have been touring non-stop over the past year. The mix spans from ultra-hyper to the subdued including the much anticipated Breakage “Hard” remix from Caspa & The Others and a Sidney Samson “Riverside” Jack Beats re-edit of the Breakage remix. Jack Beats are a multiple DMC Award winning DJ duo made up of Niall Dailly (DJ Plus One of Scratch Perverts fame) and Ben Geffin (The Mixologists). They have had an immediate and profound effect on the club scene since teaming up in 2007; producing transcendent remixes for La Roux and Florence & The Machine amongst others and releasing their genre bending ‘U.F.O’ EP on Hervé’s Cheap Thrills Records.

Fake Blood had one of the biggest dancefloor tracks of 2008 with “Mars” and now it comes packed with a remix EP on Cheap Thrills next week. The EP contains remixes from Hervé, Jack Beats, Style of Eye & Boy 8 Bit. This techhousey number from Style Of Eye hints at the original but still maintains a vibe entirely on its own. Whoa, one of our favorite club jams of 2008 gets a video!

Whoa, our boy Sinden remixes the semi-new track “Run It” from hip hop heroes EPMD. He provides it with some sweet UK Garage flavour. Also, both Hervé and Duke Dumont join in on the fun for the Scion single release which will drop on October 20th.

Yet another excellent track from Hervé, this time it’s a joint effort with big wig producer A-Trak that also features Canadian rapper Cadence Weapon. This track, “Roll With The Winners”, is off the recent Mixmag CD, it will be on the American version of the Machines Don’t Care album and this is one seriously hot jam.

Sunday fun (thanks to the wonderful Anna over at Your Army) with this EP sampler mix from Action Man which is UK demon producer Hervé‘s latest alter ego. The Action Man EP is called “Stamina” (will drop September 15th) and this teaser mix contains the following tracks: “Alarm Bell”, “Under Your Skin” and “Zombie Dance”. We were just wondering, does this man ever sleep?

The new digital only album “Prince Umberto And The Sister Of Ill” by Australian brother-sister duo The Bumblebeez came out yesterday in the US (it was recorded and produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco fame). (You can stream the full album over at RCRD LBL).

The fine people over at Modular brought out the big guns in the form of Crookers, Herve and Etienne De Crecy to remix the single “Rio”. We got the Etienne De Crecy remix and it’s a techhousey take on the electropop party feeling of the original version.
