Hotel Garuda is back with his new single “Mutual,” a follow up to “Head In The Trees” last year. Out now on Mom+Pop music, “Mutual” is an excellent indicator of his desire and ability to expand his skill set from DJ/producer to singer/songwriter, once again flexes his smooth vocal chops in his new single. “Mutual” continues the trend of reflective, vocal-driven songs from the LA-based artist, each providing a contextual look into what he’s been through in both his career and personal life to date. “Mutual is a song that describes a gap in communication, a distance between two people that is less physical than it is emotional,” he shares, “I thought it would be interesting to write about the feeling of wanting someone and being wanted by them, without any of the certainty of a monogamous relationship.”

The past couple of years has seen Hotel Garuda evolve far beyond the remits on in-demand remixers. Three original singles deep, ‘Till It Burns Out’ shows just how much the North American duo, known elsewhere as Manila Killa and Candle Weather, has evolved since singing with PRMD Music. Calling on the fine vocal work of Violet Skies, the track’s new age future bass influences blend perfectly with a standout vocal performance from the Welsh singer, adding to a sparing but strong run of original singles from the duo.

Galantis recently released their single “Peanut Butter Jelly,” which we covered here a few weeks ago, and today we’ve been blessed with this blissed out house remix of one of their lesser known tracks “Gold Dust” from CRNKN and Hotel Garuda. Take a listen to their collaborative club-ready take on the track below. The remix is featured as part of an official remix package featuring additional reworks by Loosid, Hook N Sling, and Yacht Club.

Just last week we wrote about Sebastian Carter’s remix of Full Crate x Mar’s “Nobody Else” and today we bring you another slice from the standout remix package. Rising production duo Hotel Garuda takes no prisoners with their flip of “Nobody Else,” turning the track into a bouncy floor filling disco tune.

“Nobody Else was one of our favorite songs of the year. When we hit up Full Crate and Mar and asked for the stems, they offered us a spot in the official remix package. Obviously we said yes!” – Hotel Garuda
