Ocelot – Remixes Vol. 1

British/American electro/dance duo Ocelot are prepping the release of an album along with an EP together with Bird Peterson. As a teaser for all the upcoming goodies, here’s a compilation of their remix work. This includes their thumping reworkings for artists such as Robyn, Röyksopp, Juiceboxxx, Toxic Avenger and The Killers etc.

Designer Drugs – Drop Down (Savage Skulls remix)

Stockholm duo Savage Skulls remixed the track “Drop Down” (the remix EP has just been released by Iheartcomix and features remixes from Beatacue and Mustard Pimp, released on vinyl in the EU through Topplers but is available at all the usual suspects worldwide) NYC outfit Designer Drugs late last year but it never saw the official light of day. Fast forward to today when Savage Skulls have honed their skills working with some of the most known dance acts at the moment and we get to sink our teeth into this gritty, fast paced and fistpumping remix complete with an infectious vocal sample.

Two of our favorite production/dj duos, Acid Girls & Jokers Of The Scene, got together for one mighty fine mix where Jokers Of The Scene mixed the Acid Girls part and the Acid Girls boys returned the favor. They’re about to embark on a joint tour and this mix was done to promote what has the makings to be one whirlwind of a ride.
