<p><a href="http://www.myspace.com/thecrepes">The Crépes</a> are the new Swedish pop super duo which consists of Fredrik Lindson (½ of <a href="http://www.theembassy.info/">The Embassy</a>) + <a href="http://www.myspace.com/danlissvik">Dan Lissvik</a> (½ of <a href="http://www.myspace.com/sstudio">Studio</a>). They just released their first vinyl album &#8220;What Else?&#8221; on <a href="http://www.myspace.com/informationrecords">Information Records</a> a couple of days ago and it almost immediately sold out (stray copies may be found over at <a href="http://www.juno.co.uk">Juno</a>, <a href="http://www.phonicarecords.com/product/view/57482">Phonica</a> or <a href="http://www.piccadillyrecords.com/">Piccadilly</a>. You can also wait until August 27th for the CD/digital release). The title track &#8211; &#8220;What Else&#8221; &#8211; is not as breezy and balearic as their regular outfits but it&#8217;s a captivating piece of pop music.</p>

He&#8217;s about to release his solo effort &#8220;7 Trx + Intermission&#8221; on <a href="http://inf000.com/">Information</a> in november (it will be available from the usual suspects such as <a href="http://www.phonicarecords.co.uk/">Phonica</a>, <a href="http://www.piccadillyrecords.com/">Piccadilly</a> and <a href="http://www.roughtrade.com/">Rough Trade</a>). </p>
<p>This is &#8220;Track 6&#8243;, it doesn&#8217;t stray too far away from the Studio sound with a laidback feel and some sweet pitter-pattering drums. It&#8217;s almost like lush wave of wonderful and hypnotic Mediterranean disco bliss caressing your ears.</p>
