Guido is a young producer from Bristol who just released a new single called “Beautiful Complication/Araya” featuring lovely vocals from Aarya on Punch Drunk Records. The single has already received play from Joker, Oneman, Pinch, Kode 9, Mary Anne Hobbs, Toddla T, Sinden, Rob Da Bank, Appleblim and many more that are intrigued by Guidos suspenseful and atmospheric brand of dubstep that fits superbly with this darker time of the year. Marine Parade just featured the AC Slater dub remix of the Freeland track “Only a Fool” on the new Freeland remix compilation “Cope Remixed”. Now, AC gives us the vocal version which stays true to his form of producing smashing tracks that also features some of that smittening wobble bass. AC Slater is about to put out a new single which will distributed for free via blogs in November and he also has a new single dropping in February on Trouble & Bass + his “Calm Down” EP will be released in March.

Perth producer/dj Kito has been dubbed “the queen of dubstep” and is a big MySpace find from fellow Grinder Markus Lol Boys; “She’s like the Australian Joker“. Kito gives us mesmerizing dubstep tracks that simply pulls you in.
She has a massive EP entitled “On The Floor” dropping soon on Skreams label Disfigured Dubz and has done mixes for among others Australias premier radio statio Triple J + Mary Anne Hobbs over at BBC Radio 1. We’ve got the Triple J mix for your enjoyment and remember keep a close watch on Kito.
Joker stepping up with another amazing track with his edit of the third single “How You Like Me Now” (will be released on August 31st) from British indierock group The Heavy.
Los Angeles dj/producer Gas Lamp Killer is the resident DJ at the Low End Theory club and he has received much acclaim for his magnificent turntable skills and his wild stage presence. He’s now ready to unleash his debut release, the “My Troubled Mind” EP which is set to drop on August 4th on Flying Lotus’ own label Brainfeeder imprint.
“Anything Worse” is filled with drum breaks, samples of psych/funk trumpets, horror sound effects along with eerie synth lines making this into something really special.
BONUS: Check the video where Gas Lamp Killer absolutely destroys at this years Sonar festival in Barcelona where he played alongside British dubstep hero Joker.
British downtempo/loungey duo Zero 7 (Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker), are set to release their fourth studio album “Yeah Ghost” on September 7th. This is the first single off the album and it’s called “Everything Up (Zizou)” (it comes backed with remixes from among others NYC disco weirdos Mock n Toof which can be found over at RCRD LBL, dubstep big shots Joker & Ginz) which could be a homage to French footballer Zinedine Zidane. The track features vocals from Henry Binns and Eska Mtungwazi, it’s a slick and shimmering piece of pop goodness. We received this remix by Japan obsessed London producer Gold Panda who turns it into a bleeped out affair.
Freeland released their new single today. It feature some nice remixes from Joker, PANtYRAiD, Moonbootica and High Rankin. Love the Joker one. Listen to it in the player below and then go get it!
