Our Time

This is the first single from Ocelot and it’s called “Our Time”, a French house infused banger in its truest form with some Daft Punk esque vocoded vocals. The track is taken from their upcoming album “No Requests” that is due to come out in the summer.

The great guys over at Plant Music gave us a couple of remixes from the “Teenage Suicide (Don’t Do It!)” EP to share. There is no way that you can have missed this anthem of a track. With it’s uplifting lyrics it should have been played obligatory to all emotional teenagers around the globe.
They also wants us to tell you that Clubfeet‘s next single “Count Your Lovers” will feature remixes by newcomers Bit Thief, Bolton, DJ Kue, Dillon Francis & All Dom Wrong.

What We Live For

The Plant Music crew are throwing another edition of their monthly “What We Live For” parties today (June 18th) over in NYC. To promote the party they handed us two brand new remixes from outfits on their roster. What We Live For party

Our friends in Plant Music are putting together a sweet looking party tonight at 105 Rivington in NYC, Deadmau5 was supposed to play but pulled out the last minute so now they’ve got The Golden Filter, Kap10Kurt and Dominique from The Glass behind the decks. Plant Music – We All Benefit party

Our friends in Plant Music are doing a benefit party in Brooklyn tonight. If you’re in the area, head on out since it looks like good fun and it’s for a good cause (All proceeds from the parties will go to support the UnionDocs space and the artist residency programs it supports). We got this remix by Dolby Anol of the Kap10Kurt “Mission Complete” track to promote the event.

Kap10Kurt – Mission Complete

NYC duo Kap10Kurt just released their latest single “Mission Complete” on Plant Music. It comes backed with remixes from Tepr, Ocelot, Dolby Anol and this remix from Portuguese by way of Munich outfit Moulinex. Moulinex manages to bring some order to the party rocking electro chaos known as Kap10Kurt with a french house flavored remix.

Dave Gahan – Kap10Kurt remix

Dominique from Plant Music and The Glass just gave us clearance to post this. Dave Gahan released his solo album “Hourglass” last year and now we get the “Hourglass Remixes” CD. The CD features previously blogged remixes from among others Booka Shade, Digitalism and many more. Kap10Kurt are starting 2008 strong, they’re about to embark on tour in Europe and Japan + they were featured in the URB Magazine as “Next 100 Artists to watch”. Here, they add a little flair to the synthy sounds of the Depeche Mode front man but keeps the originals feel.
