sake

Jupiter – Sake (minimix)

Parisian duo Jupiter (who, much like a surprisingly high amount of people releasing music on Kitsune, are a couple) deliver a well deserved homage to my current hometown of Osaka’s choice drink 酒, also known as hangover inducing sake.

Remixes hit the spot perfectly, with contributions from Blackjoy, In Flagranti, and a slice of perfection by reunited French dream team Para One & Tacteel. Check out a free downloadable minimix below, and grab your pre-order on iTunes.

La Musique

Yelle is about to release her new single “La Musique”, which is also the first track off her new album. For the occasion they made a little teaser / minimix including the original and all the remixes of the EP. “La Musique” will be released on French label Kitsuné on October 4th, the EP also contains remixes by Discodeine, Lorenz Rhode, Tepr and Myd.

La Vie Moderne

Parisian duo Logo release their debut EP “La Vie Moderne” today on Kitsuné and to celebrate they handed us this stomping remix collaboration by Parisian whiz kid French Fries and Swedish veteran Tony Senghore which:

“…layers the whirring electro of the original with an incessant kick drum and a seductive vocal by Piu Piu, catapulting the track into epic territory!”

Jamaica 2010_1 (So Me)

Jamaica

French outfit Jamaica was formerly known as Poney Poney. They’ve now transformed into a duo and are currently finishing their first album with Xavier de Rosnay (of Justice fame) and Peter Franco. Their first single “I Think I Like U 2″ is a fine piece of electropop which is featured on the newest Kitsuné Maison compilation and the video was directed by So Me.

BONUS:

Delphic

Dancey Manchester indie/electro trio Delphic have been called the New Order for the 21st century and have already had some acclaim with the “This Momentary” single release on Kitsuné. Now they are about to drop their debut album “Acolyte” (released on own label Chimeric in conjunction with Cooperative Music and produced by Ewan Pearson) on January 20th and also they’re embarking on a tour that will take them to Scandinavia. Producer of the moment – Riton – comes with a bouncy re-rub that sees the track enlist some of his signature sound.

Crystal Fighters vs. Lorcan Mak

The big single “I Love London” from Crystal Fighters was just released on Kitsuné and it features a plethora of remixes. Thanks to Press Gang, we just received the latest one courtesy of Irish producer and rising star Lorcan Mak who touches up on the tropical elements and brings in some big drops to make this a dancefloor bomb.
