The biggest Swedish track for me this summer and fall has been “Det Var Jag” with Skåne electro hero Familjen and the remixes has been equally amazing, really showing the diversity of the Swedish club scene. We have already featured two versions here on Discobelle, Albin Myers and Gidge. On the vinyl release and on Spotify you also get a Savage Skulls and Marcus Price version (check it out, it’s a dancefloor killer) and this one from Krazy Fiesta. Johan tells us that its his favourite remix up to date. It’s beautiful, perfect for the day after. We are very happy to have the go ahead to share it with the world!

Discobelle brethren Adrian Recordings joins forces with amazing duo Krazy Fiesta for the second Advent Mixtape this year. Top notch as usual, they manage to drill down some unexpected moves. Like the remix from Leo Nathorst, one half of Boeoes Kaelstigen, and their own unexpected live dub of Andreas Tilliander’s track “She Don’t Cry”. Extra sugar on top is the shouts coming from Lorentz of Lorentz & M.Sakarias. Exclusive, interesting and danceable, just like we want it.

A super fresh remix from Krazy Fiesta, of the track “Ten Strikes” from Stockholm outfit O’Spada and the boys certainly provide us with top notch quality once again but this time they go towards more of a mellow analogdisco sound in the vein of Arthur Russell meets Chaka Khan.

The fine people over at award winning and much talked about Swedish clothing label Uniforms For The Dedicated just released their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection which is entitled “A Play Of Nonsense”, the collection is enthused by the imaginary literature of the 19th-century where among others Lewis Carroll mastered the art of transforming everyday objects into a new and challenging meaning. We here at Discobelle join them for a partnership seeing that they’ve also opened up their brand new stylish webshop.

At the same time the label has decided to unleash their second music project that bears the same name as the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. The EP was produced by Jonas Rathsman and Nils Krogh, joining them is the Gothenburg outfit Ram Di Dam (who just released their debut EP “A Liar to Admire”) and they also got their friends Swedish tech house heroStyle Of Eye, club killer Krazy Fiesta, Gothenburg electro Stuffa + Stockholm/Berlin techno duo Wester & Wedrén to deliver some hard hitting remixes of the track meaning that the EP is bound to have a little something for everyone.

The always amazing Krazy Fiesta just had remixes featured on two top class records, the first one was on the Kompakt released “Skate Attack” single by Norwegian disco prince + princess Skatebård/Annie and the second one on the “Street Jizz EP” from Kansas City group Ssion. Now one lucky winner will walk away with both of these singles, just e-mail us the answer to this question: What African city did Krazy Fiesta-Johan just live in for 6 months?

As previously mentioned, Johan from Krazy Fiesta has relocated to Kenya. Still the duo manages to churn out anthemlike remixes, like this one of our favorite Swedish melancholic techno outfit Boeoes Kaelstigen which means that two of our favorite Swedish outfits join forces. Boeoes Kaelstigen just released the “Commuting Colours Remix EP” (on Adrian Recordings) from which this is taken. The Krazy Fiesta boys adds some swirling synths to this already amazing track and he stretches it to clock in at over 7 minutes of sheer brilliant deep techno that sounds like it was made for late nights in the cold north.

Johan from Krazy Fiesta is currently residing in Mombasa, Kenya but he still managed to hook us up with their latest project. A sultry slow jamming remix of the collaboration track “Love Attack” between Norwegian electropop princess Annie and nu-disco/italo producer Skatebård. Krazy Fiesta are going from strength to strength, we can’t wait to hear what they have up their sleeves.

This is a hard post to write.

We just received this club anthemlike remix of the Stuffa & Andy track “Pretty Girls”, which also features all out awesome rapper Mapei, from Jo-han of Krazy Fiesta fame and Fredrik AKA DJ Nibc (owner of label Trunkfunk Records).

This was the last track that Jo-han and Jesper in Krazy Fiesta worked on together before Jespers tragic passing one year ago. As we wrote then, we only met Jesper a few times and besides being very talented he was also one of the nicest people we had the good fortune to meet. His music and memory will live on.
