Sun Of A Gun

The fine Stockholm based duo known as Savage Skulls did this remix for Danish born Brooklynite singstress Oh Land and her upcoming single track “Sun Of A Gun”. The boys turn in a banging street savvy remix which aims straight for the heart of the dancefloor with a percussion driven groove that just blends smoothly with the beautiful vocals of Nanna Øland Fabriciu.

In It Together

Human Life is a house producing electropop trio from l.A and they just wrapped up their EP “In It Together” on which they commissioned remixes from some talented producers (among them our homies in Acid Girls and the legendary Kris Menace). This digital only remix comes from Young Gunz affiliated Parisian producer Lazy Flow who goes into tribal ravey mode.

Serge Santiago

London producer Serge Santiago has been releasing Italodisco edits since 2005 on his own label Arcobaleno (means “Rainbow” in Italian and each release has a different colour. His first release was his own “Atto D’Amore” EP, From there on, coloured vinyl re-edits followed with a bunch of Italo artists including Roxy Music, Grace Jones, Baciotti, Goblin’s “Tenebre”, Thai Break’s “Flowers in The Rain” and Droids “The Force”. He also remixes for Hercules And Love Affair, Shit Robot, Goldfrapp, Cagedbaby, Kris Menace, Caspa, Simian Mobile Disco and more.

“What they did in those days blows me away at times… It’s a different kind of energy, makes you dance in a different way…I like its originality; Italo being the first to use synths in this way makes it more interesting to me, as I know it hasn’t been sampled or re-hashed. It’s the way it is.”

Here’s one of his original tracks “Running Passions” and an edit of the My Mine “Hypnotic Tango which truly is hypnotic, now get dancing!

Heartache (Lifelike remix)

This remix of the Heartache track “Don’t Stop” starts out more menacing than it will sound later on. Lifelike brings in some harsher electro sounds in the beginning but then lets beautiful swirling synths take over. Check out the “Don’t Stop EP” (includes a Kris Menace remix) that was just released on OMG Recordings.
