Big Weekend

Berlin for five days left us exhausted but it was great fun. Back to normal routines, well at least until this weekend when London is up.

The mighty UK producer L-Vis 1990 – recent addition to the Mad Decent roster who is most likely to blow up in 2009 – gives us another stellar remix (we posted his remix of Crystal Fighters last week). This time around he turns his attention to US trio Lemonade and their new single “Big Weekend” (drops July 20th on Sunday Best), he hands us fiercely dark remix with a dirty bass and ravey synths.

Bersa Discos #2

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

Bersa Discos just dropped their second release “Bersa Discos #2″. It features DJ Negro out of Buenos Aires, who manages to combine classic cumbia riffs with everything from dubbed out bass to trance synth, a track from co-label head Oro11 and one from Alex Pasternak from the band Lemonade out of San Francisco. Go buy it over at Turntable Lab.

But before you decide to grab it, we got two tracks for you to listen to.

If you are in San Francisco this Saturday they are celebrating the release of Bersa Discos #2 with another edition of their monthly party Tormenta Tropical with a performance by the South Rakkas Crew.
