We’ve had the fortune of being a part of unraveling the mystery of letthemusicplay through sharing a few of the enigmatic group’s releases. Now we’re back with another one, this time a remix by John Dahlback of LTMP’s latest single, “Don’t Weigh Me Down.” The remix is a hypnotizing tech-house tune that shifts into a more melodically driven synth line at 3:15. Grab the track below.

A few weeks ago we brought you RAC’s remix of the ever enigmatic letthemusicplay‘s single, “Waves.” Now our dudes over at Gotta Dance Dirty have unleashed another great remix, this time by French producer Alex Gopher. We still have no idea who these guys are, but clues point to it being someone already very deep in the electronic music scene. Until then we’ll speculate wildly and savor each track and remix that comes our way.

There’s something about an artist’s decision to adopt anonymity that rouses curiosity and compels you to listen to their music. Behind a logo made of two circles and a triangle in the shape of a face is the enigmatic group/duo/girl/girl, letthemusicplay. No one really knows anything about these guys except that they’ve enjoyed support from producers like Jacques Renault and The 2 Bears. Most recently, our dudes Andre, Karl and Andrew of RAC (Remix Artist Collective) have remixed their second single “Waves,” which we’re happy to premiere today on Discobelle. The RAC remix adds more layers of spacey synths, creating the soundtrack to a futuristic underwater submarine expedition. If you like what you hear, head on over to LTMP’s Soundcloud for free downloads of both their singles and remixes.
