Little Jinder is one of our top contenders for female electropop artist of 2008 (up there with Little Boots and La Roux) and it seems like we’re not the only ones that thinks she’s amazing. NYC label Trouble & Bass are going ga-ga for her and she’s just been nominated as “Most promising act in 2009″ for the Swedish Rockbjörnen MySpace award. IAMSOUND Records dropped the debut American release from Little Boots yesterday. The “Arecibo EP” features “Stuck On Repeat” and “Meddle” with remixes from Fake Blood and Ebola. This is the bonus Baron von Luxxury slowed down disco remix of “Meddle” and true to it’s name it does paint a sparkling picture.

Little Boots sent this out on her mailing list yesterday, a short but sweet mixtape for you to enjoy.

Her debut American release will come in the form of the “Arecibo” EP (produced by Joe from Hot Chip and Greg from Bird And The Bee) out mid-November through IAMSOUND Records. Also, she just released a limited edition (only 300 copies) 7″ blue vinyl of her single “Meddle” which can be picked up here.
