“Brutally lyrical soul music” is how singer-songwriter Lilith Ai describes her music. Her poignant words and stripped down vocals reminds us of Robin Sherwell or Denai Moore, also both UK based artists and exciting new talents. Her poignant tales of modern city life show urban life through a clear lens, one that does not hesitate to reveal the dark side of life that she has experienced.

Just earlier this week Lilith revealed her debut single “Hang Tough” and today we’re happy to premiere the B-side “Yeah Yeah,” an uplifting and up-tempo redemptive song, packed with crisp drums, psychedelic strings and topped off by Lilith’s wise beyond her years voice.

It’s been a while since we posted about Swedish producer Johan Agebjörn but he just e-mailed us about the premiere of his latest single together with Le Prix and Lake Heartbeat, “Watch The World Go By” will be released by Lo recordings on April 12th with remixes from SkatebÃ¥rd and Teen Daze. The track is also the first single off his upcoming album “Casablanca Nights” (to be released in May with guests CFCF, Sally Shapiro, Fred Ventura, Queen Of Hearts, Wolfram, Legowelt and Ercola etc.).

The track itself is another glorious example of his production skills, a lovely piece of gleaming italodisco with subdued vocals that carries the icy beat perfectly.

Ah, the best of two worlds combined in the form of Scandinavian disco from Johan Agebjörn (Sally Shapiros producer) who gives us his remix of Italians Do It Better top dogs and Northwestern disco kings Glass Candy. The remix will be released May 18th on the compilation “Milky Disco II” which is being put out by Lo Recordings.
