Get ready to spin those pancakes!  We’ve got a whole whack of good tunes to have you both reflecting, dancing, and burning off those wretched “Thanksgiving” calories at the same time.

1. Tourist – “Your Girl”

London continues to prove it’s reign as the forefront of the today’s producer scene with Tourist, and his latest euphoric house track, “Your Girl”. Close your eyes as you listen to this emotional, chilled out tune.

2. Cassian – “On and On”

An artist that continues to shine through as a production genius, Cassian just released his latest house tune, “On and On” available with a free download on his Soundcloud. Download this for the sole reason that Soundcloud doesn’t have a repeat button…and you’re going to need it.

3. Wild Cub – “Straight No Turns” (Kisses Remix)

Nashville indie – pop outfit, Wild Cub, and Los Angeles duo Kisses have paired up on this fun little rework of Wild Cub’s latest, “Straight No Turns. We may have had a hand in this collaboration…

4. Lone – “Aquamarine”

Certainly not the newest song to ever hit the blogosphere, Lone’s brilliant original house track “Aquamarine” finds itself nestled at a burning 130BPM, yet plays as one of the most relaxing, meditative house songs ever produced.

5. Ejeca – “Night Rays”

“Keep your eye on Ejeca” – words that have seemed to run off our lips at every given opportunity. Loving this movement that Ejeca, Waze & Odyssey, and Feel My Bicep are all a part of right now…

6. Eats Everything – “Tone Music”

Eats Everything. The perfect way to round out this week’s ‘Friday Wrap. Get ready for some of that bass heavy house, with the pure intention of rumbling the closest dance floor.

VITALIC NOISE RELEASES THIS WEEK:

1. Goldroom – “Sweetness Alive” feat. SLL

2. Good Night Keaton – “Next To Mexico” (Mighty Mouse Remix)

3. Viceroy – “While We’re In Love” (Amtrac Remix)

Saturday October 27th sees British duo Simian Mobile Disco returning to the homeland together with underground party masters WANG in a team up for what’s sure to be one of the most talked about events of the year at Fire in London tomorrow night. Between them they have managed to build a line up of some of the most cutting edge and legendary acts from the world of electronic music.

Simian Mobile Disco should need no introduction, from chart topping monster dance anthems to quality underground techno and house; Jas and James manage to be commercially successful whilst keeping one foot in the underground. This is the only live performance they will do in London this year. It is part of their Delicatessen live tour and so will be their full on live show with modular analog synth mayhem and a full laser show. As part of the Delicatessen tour, they will be curating the main room together with Rebuild (A Guy Called Gerald & Graham Massey), Mark E, Lone, dBridge and Alexander Robotnick.

Wang take full control in Room 2 so expect all the usual Wang shenanigans with a friendly up for it party vibe…

That hot little two lettered recognizable label that relaunched five years ago is finally getting a chance to try their hand at the compilation game (or for the first time since 1989′s “In Order To Dance” at least) with R&S’s forthcoming IOTDXI collection.

The first half consists of some pristine dancefloor moments from the last two years – kicking off with Model 500′s “OFI” remixed by Bullion, and also including some James Blake, Lone, Blawan, and Vondelpark tracks that you’ve probably wifed up someone on the dancefloor to.

The second CD is full of unreleased material from the R&S camp, including this stony, rustling static anthem from Pariah that kind of sounds like someone’s chipping away at a stone tablet in the middle of a wheat field. It’s only at about the four minute mark that things start feeling a little hectic, rising distorted horns slowly drowning out all the other sound. Hear this on a good set of speakers ASAP.

IOTDXI is out on October 31st.
