Originally from Australia but now residing in Los Angeles, Craig Williams is an up and coming producer that had a fantastic 2013 with a release together with Louisahhh!!! of Bromance along with a series of choice tracks/remixes and he’s someone that you should be paying close attention to.

His “Saw Throat” EP was just released by Aussie label Club Sweat (sublabel of Sweat It Out) and it brandishes two tracks of vibesfilled, deep and dark techno – the EP has already seen support from big players such as Claude VonStroke, Crookers, Yolanda Be Cool, Sinden, Astronomar, Beataucue, Nick Catchdubs, RUFUS and more.

He’s also releasing an EP together with Charles I with us here at Discobelle Records in the beginning of April, be sure to check that out and be prepared to be blown away.

Craig Williams is an Australian producer that has relocated to the City Of Angels and his latest release the amazing “Rawhide EP” features the distinctive vocals of Bromance leading lady – producer/dj/songstress Louisahhh!!!.

The title track “Rawhide” is a dark and moody tune on which we get the sultry vocals from Louisahh to back this jacking techno smash. On the flipside we get the groovy “Chip A Tooth” that displays a hedonistic touch, reminding us of dark nights in basement clubs. The EP also comes packed with two banging reworks courtesy of JoeFarr along with a remix of the title track from chopped and screwed technofunk pioneers CSMNT61.

The EP has already recived support from big players such as Brodinski, Riva Starr, Sinden, Jon Convex, Eskimo Twins, Yolanda Be Cool, NT89, Anna Lunoe, Larry Tee, Club Cheval, Wordlife, Blatta & Inesha etc.

PS. Be on the lookout for an upcoming Craig Williams release on Discobelle Records.

Me and Martin made a mix for Swedish National Radio P3 and the show Musikguiden i P3.

The idea behind the mix is a groovy hour of dance music before Sweden clock out and go all-in at midsummer. You will hear harder tunes like Louisahhh mixed with deeper house from different corners of the world. Among them: Berlin-producer Adam Port, Swiss duo Round Table Knights and of course also some Swedish classics such as Genius Of Time with their amazing use of a Whitney Houston song. The mix also includes songs from the new rising stars Say Lou Lou in a HNNY-remix and Albin Karlsson. Enjoy!

Light Year

Jan 17 2013

We at Discobelle are proud to present with these exclusives from Sydney based producer Light Year who decided to wrap 2012 up with a bang in the form of a technoish and thumping 909 smitten edit for fellow Australian outfit Tame Impala and their track “Be Above It” and a brand new mix that swells with a selection of some of his favorite tracks of 2012 along with some unreleased goodies such as his collaboration with supreme vocalist Louisahhh (due to drop in 2013).

“The mix features some of the new original music and remixes that I have been working on over the past 6 months: a collaboration with vocalist Louisahh and a collaboration with some friends from Sydney called ‘Australia’ which has a bit more of a techno feel. The rest of the mix features some tracks that I’m playing in my sets at the moment. There is so much great music around right now and I love to mix slightly different styles, from house to techno. Producers like Mr G, Jimmy Edgar, Daniel Avery, KiNK among so many others are all doing great stuff!”

Tracklist for the mix after the jump.
