Oslo duo Loveless drops another bomb of a track, “Straight 2 The Club” combines their ear for Scandinavian pop sensibilities with smooth r’n’b and soulful vocals.

“We and our UK friends, J. Warner and Taet, wrote ‘Straight 2 The Club’ on a winter’s night in our studio in Oslo, Norway. We were actually on our way to the club when inspiration struck and we simply had to record it. It’s a classical love duet with a 2018 kind of vibe, a modern day Alicia Keys and Usher if you like.”

Oslo based production/dj duo Loveless (Eirik Tillerli and Filip Kollsete) might have only released one official EP but they have already managed to gather both domestic and international attention with frequent rotation on Norwegian national radio, featured on BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s “Record of the Week” along with support from big blogs such as Earmilk, Complex UK, Hypetrak and Selected.

They’re now gearing up for a busy end of the year starting with today’s release of new melancholic, housed up dance pop single “Bad 4 U” which features the vocal offerings of Stockholm based artist Awa (who won the Swedish X-Factor at only 15). She then finished school, released two singles – the latest one called “Obvious” which got attention in the UK. Loveless tells us: “We loved her song ‘Obvious’ and her voice, so we contacted her on a trip to Stockholm. We loved the vibe with her and [songwriter] Leslie Tay, and “Bad 4 U” is a result of that.”

Our Norwegian brethren in Loveless just dropped their video for the fantastic track “Elephant” which also features the vocal offerings of Tomine Harket.

“”Elephant” tells a story of down periods in a relationship – a sad yet aggressive song about not wanting, or being able to bring up the infamous ‘Elephant’ in the room. The uptempo ballad will be part of Loveless’ upcoming album “Relationships”, expected to be released later this year.”
