Malente will be playing at the booming Awesome party at Villa in Berlin tonight (Saturday October 3rd) together with Swedish singstress Kissey Asplund, the Swiss dancetastic duo Round Table Knights, one of the hardest working dj’s in Berlin Sick Sinus etc. If you’re around then this looks like it’ll be a great party. One of our favorite dj’s/producers, New York disco producer Eli Escobar, just released his first original release “Glass House” and it’s been creating quite a stir over the past month with support from a variety of dj’s such as Sinden, Nick Catchdubs, Malente and many many more. Eli Escobar is of course already well known for his many amazing remixes which Plant Music will be compiling into a remix album for release later this year. This tasty remix comes courtesy of XXXChange who should be no stranger for the frequent Discobelle reader.

Video for the new single “Music Forever” from Malente.

The Dada Life boys with their first Guerilla Fart edit of 2009 (they’ve reached number 8 and it’s an updated edit of The Timelords/KLF track “Doctorin The Tardis” which was a UK chart topper back in 1988) and also with their first mix of 2009.

The mix contains among others a brand new track from Malente, a Dada Life produced Maskinen track and their own single “Rubber Band Boogie”, the whole thing executed in the traditional banging Dada Life style. Also, they’re releasing the first single “Happy Hands & Happy Feet in a few weeks, it’s taken from their upcoming album “Just Do the Dada” which will drop later in 2009.

Malente got a new release called “Bring That Lead Back” coming out on Southern Fried Records soon (check the video). You can get it as a pre-release from beatport on Monday so that you can rock it at your Christmas party. If you can’t wait that long, Malente sent us this mix so that you have something to listen to until Monday.
