Bay Area based producer Charles Duff is the man behind Matrixxman and the brand new LP Homesick. Set to be released via Ghostly, Homesick is a machine heavy dance album that seems to travel in-between different galaxies. Weaving in and out between vicious acid lines and heavy 909 patterns, it’s constantly teetering on the edge of human and machine. The twelve tracks shy away from a formulaic dance track setup, and instead mirror a narrative journey that evokes visions of other worlds and different times. Though filled with aggressive drum machines and oscillating synths, Homesick still has that human touch that we’re all longing for. The album is out on July 10th, and available for pre-order here.
