White Light 50 – Neoteric & Matty C

The 50th edition of the White Light Mix Series comes courtesy of founders Neoteric and Matty C, aural bliss is what we get. Put this on for your christmas dinners if you want your loved ones to keep that christmas spirit.

“When we put the first few mixes together, we never thought it would lead to a series. It was the DJs and the listeners who were so inspired by them that kept us moving forward. Now, as we hit Volume 50 we look back with pride, while looking forward to the next 50. Trust us, you won’t believe what we’ve got lined up! For 50 though, we wanted to work together on a mix that captures 2 of the main approaches to the series. The slow groove, spacey, new wave shit (first half), and the infectious, driving, vocal approach of the 2nd half. Whatever your preference, we thank you for listening. Look into the light!”

White Light 18 – Neoteric

New mix from our man over in Vancouver, Neoteric strikes again with his third installment of the White Light Mix Series which he runs together with Matty C.

“It’s been amazing to see this series blossom into what it has become! My last White Light mix (Vol 5) was one of my favourite mixes that I’ve ever done, but I wanted to go deeper on this one to really catch the ‘Night Driving / Zone Out’ vibe. This one is much less vocal, way more mind trip, and features some very strong productions from acts who are really pushing this sound. This is pretty heady, moody stuff, and the vocals that were picked resonate strongly with emotion. I hope this mix strikes a nerve and is the cosmic soundtrack along your ways. Look towards the light!”
