Took some time for the official video to surface…

Another gem of a find from our Grindin peeps over at Neon Gold. Philly hip hop outfit Chiddy Bang samples/remixes last years biggest indie hit “Kids” by MGMT and come up with what is accurately described as “a summer anthem”. That chopped up synth sample is enough to have crowds go wild and you know we will rock this for sure.

Since the success with my MGMT mix, Vice decided that they are going to continue to ask DJs to remix tracks from a certain artist. The second mix is with Bloc Party mixed by our friends in Top Billin. This is what Nenis from Top Billin had to say about the mix:

“We took on making a mix with that punk attitude, keeping the dynamics there so that it wouldn’t be too smooth operator mix, but have that rock feel in it. The tracks in the mix are all related in Bloc Party, influences and tracks that they’ve covered (like Prince) and of course kool tunes that are named block party. Hopefully you’ll dig it.”
