Baltimore producer/dj Blaqstarr is apparently hanging out in L.A and working with the likes of Mos Def and M.I.A. But he did manage to find the time to drop this, “Bang Hard” is not anywhere near as frantic as his previous productions but instead more of a mellow jam but it’s still all that. Etienne and Johan AKA Radioclit recently produced the track “Get It Up” with Santogold and M.I.A, it was featured on the smashing Diplo/Santogold “Top Rankin” mixtape that set the internet on fire a couple of weeks ago. They decided to up the ante and brought in former Malawi (now East London) singer Esau Mwamwaya ie “The African Phil Collins” to grace the track with his presence. Look out for the release of his mixtape sometime in October and the release of his debut album shortly after that.
