Those of you that are in the know already heard about Berlin based producer/dj Mike Genius, he’s been kicking up a storm of lately with a sting of versatile tracks with a focus on making you shake your ass on the dancefloor. On this remix from Sacramento producer D.A.M.B (AKA Shaun Slaughter), “Sounds Dope” is injected with stabbing house and bass.

Hot on the heels of their recent European takeaover, Purple Crush release the first single “Busy Boys” (will be released on November 18th) which is taken off their latest EP “Blog Party”. The EP has already seen alot of exposure on the blogs.

This remix by Krames starts out as a venture into a darker electro sound than we’ve heard from him in the past but then about halfway through the track hits a break, in comes the B-more horns and then you know where he takes it. Other remixes of the single comes from South African ghetto duo Sweat X, Danish producer Jens Fokking, label mate Mike Genius, Palms Out Sounds affiliate Norrit and the track’s namesake The Get Busy Boys.

Mike Genius is releasing his debut EP “Formula” on Crushed Records in two weeks and to build some buzz we just received a track from it. Isla from Purple Crush tell us that this song has been a killer as starter track on their way cross Europe. I believe her.
