UK producer/dj Mumdance went on a journey to Egypt recently where he worked with local musicians from the Mahraganat movement. This mixtape done for Dummy Magazine contains brand new original music from that journey.

“Mahraganat is a contemporary youth style which combines elements of traditional Egyptian folk music with breakneck tempos and basic electronic production tools.”

Thanks to Sportsman for providing us with this wonderful selection of tracks done for Radar Magazine.

“I’m just going away to Tanzania for vaycay and inspiration, so I wanted to make a mixtape for the trip. Sportsman was kind of born in Kenya, so it will be amazing to go back to where it all began. It’s a weird mix of music really – everything from Italian film composer Ennio Morricone via my dear friend HNNY to Taylor Swift – but it’s in that way I find myself listening to music these days. Anything that feels pure.”

Discobelle Records alumni Brenmar releases a monster of a mixtape that further cements his unique blend of driven club music and rap/r’n’b, “High End Times Vol. 1″ contains only originals and features guest appearances from noted names such as Mykki Blanco, Maluca, Sasha Go Hard, Calore etc.
