The new “Nu Skool” EP from Italian born but London based producer Mowgli was just released this monday by Deadfish and it’s already climbing the Beatport chart. Mowglis tracks has been staples in our sets for the last couple of months and this EP once again showcases his strength when it comes to bringing us funky techhouse tracks that’s destined to get the dancefloor moving.

Solo is working hard dropping new solid releases at high speed. The split “Congo Fire EP” with Congaloid + “Dance” with ZDS are both huge and in a couple of weeks “The Big Stef EP” will be out on Deadfish. Deadfish is owned by the really talanted producer Mowgli and I’m really excited about this label and its future. Together Mowgli and Solo are dj’ing at Studio B this weekend and it’s the friendly people over at Palms Out who is hosting the night. Hosting? Do I need a table reservation?

Here is a new SOLO bootleg, unmastered and fresh out the oven. Taking the big room house down a bit, making it pretty chilled out but still ready for the dirty clubs this weekend.

Just back from Aussi, touring with Carl Cox, Mowgli is back in the studio working like crazy. He sent us a remix of this R ‘n’ B joint from the summer turning it into a wobblyhousemonster. Together with his remix of Armand Van Heldens “Shake That Ass” and his upcoming killer track “Sequencer” he’s really the one to watch right now.

Solo is an Italian house producer currently residing in London where he shares a studio with Discobelle faves Mowgli and Riva Starr. You might know him from his recent Cornershop remix which quickly became a favorite on the blogs. This funky track (or as Solo puts it “a dj tool that works well on the dancefloor) “Midgets in Brick Lane” is off his new EP “We Are The Midgets” which was just released on Deadfish (the label he runs together with Mowgli), it’s a track which draws a heavy influence from the world music scene in this case Bollywood.

London producer/dj Mowgli has been a blog favorite since he has a knack for churning out fidget house tracks/remixes with squelchy synthstabs and rolling basslines that’s perfect for getting that floor moving. The Laidback Luke remix of the Martin Solveig track “I Want You” has teared the dancefloor to shreds whenever we’ve played it. This Mowgli remix on the other hand isn’t nearly as in your face and hard but still manages to do the trick with a wobbly bass and a sweet breakdown.
