Our good bros over at Night Supply Records take their first, precarious steps into the world of commercial music with the latest EP from Mosis. Available now on Beatport, this double a-side is an exercise in genre-blurring beat-smithery that yields some fantastic results and is sure to hit home with more than one audience.

‘Do That’ finds some funky, urban influences from it’s 2 step/garage foundation to the bubbling percussion that is simultaneously hard as steel, yet light as a feather. ‘Moves On You’ is another solidly constructed joint that keeps the tempo high and the energy pulsating with intertwining melodies and subterranean rhythms.

Though I’m sure everyone is over the myriad amount of remixes floating around the blogosphere of the latest from Goldroom… I gotta tell ya: this one is worth the listen. Denver based producers, Eric David & j.harmon, take their chunky, bottom-heavy style and use it to fantastic results on this free remix. Their hypnotic usage of pads, vocal snips and blippy percussion turns the blurry-eyed original into a late night floor filler, perfect for keeping warm during the chilly nights ahead. Bonus points for the Alan Watts usage.

Denver young-blood, Sylent EFX has established himself as a reliable source for bumpy house joints and unique flavors… his latest cut, ‘Wonder’ is no exception. A saccharine-sweet, piano/vocal sample filters up during the intro as shuffling hats splutter towards a melodic, subby bassline.

Available for free via Denver’s premiere, house collective, Night Supply, helmed by big-boy mastermind, option4. Check out our previous coverage of Night Supply releases HERE, HERE and HERE.

Our favorite imprint from the great, green state of Colorado, Night Supply, has just released a brand spankin’ new tune from local, Sylent EFX. With an off-kilter piano riff not dissimilar to Old Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya’, stacked on top of a shuffling rhythm and choppy vocals, we’re stoked to hear more from this 18 year old producer!
