“Pomp and Clout asked me to make them a mixtape for them of whatever i wanted, so i thought i’d put my bollywood disco record crates to work. So here it is, my xmas gift to you, super rare, super popular, super weird and super awesome hindi tunes all chopped the fuck up, so that they sorta make sense. “Continuing with our weekly mixtape giveaways we present you with Maluca – “China Food”, mixed by me. This is the brain child of Maluca for us to create a biographical trilogy (Past, Present and Future), if you will, of her musical influences and own music. First starting with where Maluca is coming from, early influences (Playero Music) and early songs (“Big Bad Bangs”), next, we move on to where she’s at, current influences (Mambo de Calle, Gaga Music), current songs (“Jungle Violento”, “Flourescent Beige”) and finally where she’s going influences (Dutch House, Vogue/Ballroom House), songs (“Loca”, “Hector”). With original production from amazing producers Oliver Twizt, Mumdance, Ruckazoid, Kevin Seaton, Marcus Price and one wack one, Me. I’m pretty positive what you’re about to hear, new song or old will be 99 percent new to your ears. So where Maluca goes from here I don’t know, but what i do know is that shes so talented, beautiful and crazy that I’ll be watching and listening closely the whole way.”

Toy Selectah is at it again and this time he worked with this amazing group of young producers from Mexico to put together this free EP. Tribalhouse or guarachero is fun, agressive percussion driven bass music ready to destroy dancefloors. The Tribal Guarachero Crew from Monterrey in Mexico are Erick Rincon, Sheeqo Beat and DJ Otto. And they are producers that you wanna remember.

If haven’t heard about Ashland aka Total Freedom and the Los Angeles tuesday hangout Wildness then you’ve been sleeping. Like a missionary of bass he blends in effortless with NYC hipsters, LA coolcats, London grimeslugs, and Mexican ravers. I’ve heard big name DJs like Paul Devro and Bok Bok say that Total Freedom is the no1 selecta in America! If that’s not enough for you I don’t know what. Here is on of TFs party edits where he takes an Ize & DJ Miki track and adds a pinch of vocals from the track “Desire” by Nu Colours. Enjoy!

Ghislain Poirier is back with a new mix to introduce you to the eclectic soundscape of his brand new clubnight: Karnival. Poirier is from Montreal and is considered one of the top beatmakers and one of the most pioneering producer in Canada. He had quite the success with his previous clubnight, the legendary Bounce Le Gros party. The first edition of Karnival will take place on October 3rd at Club Soda in Montreal, as part of Pop Montreal, with special guests: Paul Devro and Dub Boy.

Secousse (Etan remix)

The Radioclit “Secousse 2″ remix EP was just released on Mental Groove Records, it’s a mighty package that features the All Stars Vocal version + dub and remixes from juke legend Gant-Man, French wonder Brodinski, Italian/British master Riva Starr, the Swiss heroes Wildlife and Round Table Knights + Mad Decents very own Paul Devro! To celebrate the release, they’re giving away some unreleased mixes of the track. First out is this bleepy yet still with that tropical flavour version by Etan (AKA Shuttle, Ninja Tune)

Bersa Discos #4

Bersa Discos got a new release out since last week, “Bersa Discos #4″. The have gone in somewhat of a different direction for this one, for a label focusing on cumbia and other tropical sounds, and got tracks from Brooklyn DJ/producer Uproot Andy and Dutch producer Sonido del Principe.

They gave us a mp3 from the release called “La Vida Vale La Pena” and it’s by Uproot Andy. You might know him from his recent Guacharaca Migration mixtape. He’s also an unofficial cohort of DJ Rupture’s Dutty Artz collective. He got three tracks for “Bersa #4″, all of which sample classic Afro-Colombian tunes. This one samples a track from Petrona Martinez.

If you are in San Francisco tomorrow be sure to visit their 1-Year Anniversary of their monthly Tormenta Tropical party. They got Heatwave coming out from London and Paul Devro from Mad Decent. It should be an amazing party.
