Safari Sound x Petter x Red Stripe presents: A Reggae Christmas

The good folks in Safari Sound together with Petter and Red Stripe brings us “A Reggae Christmas” (reprise from last year but still just as good and very much needed for the holidays).

“It all started a few weeks ago when we had an “early Caribbean Christmas lunch” with the godfather of Swedish rap, Petter. Petter is a big fan of Safari Sound mixtapes and he wondered if we would be interested in doing a mixtape project together with him and Red Stripe. This is the result: nearly an hour of “reggae Christmas classics” mixed by DJ Shirkhan and Sammy K. Give thanx for the idea and opportunity Petter and big up Red Stripe, Crazy Youths and The Soul Lounge.

We wish ya’ll a Merry Reggae Christmas and A Dancehall New Year!”

Safari Sound – Sneakersnstuff 13 Years Anniversary Mixtape

Hard working duo Safari Sound drops another insanely huge mixtape, this time they did a mixtape to celebrate the 13th anniversary of Swedish premier sneaker boutique Sneakersnstuff.

“In March it is 13 years since Sneakersnstuff was born. At that time the word sneakers barely existed in Sweden. Today Sneakersnstuff is one of the leading sneaker shops in the world with customers from all over the globe. This will be celebrated with a massive party on Saturday, March 24th and this mixtape. The mix consists of our and the Sneakersnstuff crews favorite rap, reggae and dancehall songs from the past 13 years and it is hosted by Swedish rapper Petter aka. stresset aka. scudmisil.”

Petter – Fast för evigt

New from swedish rap mogul Petter. This is the first track from the upcoming album “En Räddare I Nöden”. Releasedate for the album is beginning of April.

“Den här låten är ett ställningstagande och beskriver ett sinnestillstånd som jag befinner mig just nu och har befunnit mig i väldigt länge. Jag är högst passionerad när det kommer till Hip Hop och framförallt svensk sådan. Det har inte slutat eller stannat av sen jag kom in i det. Allt har bara växt till sig och blivit starkare. Jag tror fortfarande vi har en lång väg kvar innan vi når den positionen vi borde ha men det är kanske nästa generation som kommer få se till att målet uppnås. Saker i vår omgivning förändras, men samtidigt så är det ofantligt mycket runt omkring oss som förblir. Jag kommer aldrig sluta kämpa eller slåss för vad jag tror är rätt och därför är jag helt enkelt “FAST FÖR EVIGT”

The Swedish rapper Petter celebrates 10 year in the business this year with a best of-album. It will feature all the hits from Petter and remakes from The Hives and StoneBridge. The new album “X” will be released December 3rd.
