After the oh so excellent Cousin Cole Acid Dub(s) of Kanye West track “Champion”, we’re guessing his Flagrant Fowl partner in crime Pocketknife wanted to join on the Kanye remix shenanigans. Here’s Pocketknifes House remix of “Paranoid”.

“I decided to house up “Paranoid” from “808s…” and give it a little extra bump so you can play it out. There’s an outro and a few parts are extended a bit.”

The dynamic duo Pocketknife and Cousin Cole are at it again. After the success with the remix project “Tambourine Dream” they now return with the “Canyon Dancing” EP. And we just can’t stop dancing.

“This 7-track EP sees the studio mavericks reworking their art rock favourites into pulsing pagan dance frenzies. With a focus on hypnotic driving percussion, songs from the catalogues of Patti Smith, Liars, Silver Apples, Soft Circle, Yeasayer, Battles and Six Organs Of Admittance receive the Flagrant Fowl touch. Whereas “Tambourine Dream” had the hippies and gypsies dancing around the campfire, Canyon Dancing invites along a few warlocks, dusts off the spell book and sets the cauldron on that ever-growing fire.”

One of our favorite people, Brooklyn based dj/producer Pocketknife, just did a smooth mix for Fairtilizer who happens to be one of our favorite websites. A match made in heaven.

Mr Pocketknife gives us yet another fantastic remix. This is an extended version of a remix that he did for British soul singer Adele and her latest single “Hometown Glory”. Unfortunately, the remix was rejected so Pocketknife decided to give it out to blogs.
