I saw Mac Ayres open up for Pomo last month at Mercury Lounge in NYC and I have been hooked ever since. His recognizable brand of ambient, electronic R&B is so luscious and soothing and the perfect way to ease into the weekend. His latest production, “Lonely,” which samples Justin Timberlake’s “Señiorita” has been bringing me all the vibes today.

The time has come, it’s SPLASH HOUSE SEASON.

For those of you out of the loop, Splash House is a bi-annual festival that takes place in Palm Springs and spans over three hotels around the city to create the ultimate summer party. With the festival just around the corner, we thought we’d put together a little playlist to highlight some artists we’re extra excited to see. If you like what you hear, go on and check out the rest of the lineup and purchase tickets over on their website.

Now let’s get wavy y’all.

Yet another tropical house gem from Vancouver producer Pomo courtesy of Annie Mac’s Free Music Monday series. Repetitive distorted vocals with cascading synths make “Feel The Same Way” a track that will make you want to kick off your shoes and dip your toes in the pool, just in time for the warmer summer weather.
